FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER / INDUSTRIAL DOOR ENGINEER

SALARY – £26,000 – £33,000 OTE 40k 

LOCATION : KETTERING

We have a fantastic opportunity for a FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER / INDUSTRIAL DOOR ENGINEER to join one of the first specialist industrial door companies. They have over 45 years of trading history and a leading name in their sector.

You will be joining a Family who strives to provide the highest standard of workmanship in regards to the repair, installation and servicing of industrial doors and related equipment. 

Most of your work is within a 30 miles radius means no nights away and unreasonable daily mileage ensuring you don’t lose the company’s focus on a good work/life balance. 

The Field Service Engineer Role:

  • Servicing, repair and installation of Industrial doors, loading bay and access equipment
  • Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17:00 with optional overtime as required. 
  • Covering Emergency call out rota currently 1 week in 10. Standby fee, call out money and overtime is paid. 

Skills Required for the Field Service Engineer:
Essential:

  • Good mechanical skills, ability to diagnose faults and solve problems
  • Able to work on own initiative, hardworking, flexible attitude and most importantly a team player
  • Customer focused with good communication skills
  • Basic electrical knowledge 
  • Confident working at heights

Desirable :

  • Industrial door experience
  • Welding 
  • Electrically qualified
  • IPAF, PASMA, CSCS Card
